Today, I ate Indian food. What was so great about it? Many things. The exotic smells that greeted me today at an authentic Indian buffet. The savory and unique combination of spices that pleased my palette. But why, you may wonder, do I mention this here?
I mention my fabulously diverse lunch today because it inspired me.
Why did it inspire me? It inspired me because it was so very different from my typical lunch. It made me look at food just a little differently than I normally do. I felt a heightened sense of anticipation as I took my first bites. I was focused in the moment while I dined. My mind stayed with the delicious tastes rather than drift to the past or the future.
What this buffet was really about for me, is a reminder of the many choices we have and the possibilities before us. So, go find your Indian buffet, or something that’s exotic and different for you.

What I really like about indian food is that you can mash everything together. A girlfriend always used to tell me it was my perfect genre of food for that reason.
But yea, it’s really fun to immerse yourself in the food and its culture. Just found your site through meetup, it’s on a similar wavelength to where I am right now.
